Main Application

The contact angle formed by liquid on a solid surface is used to analyze and evaluate key indicators of the sample surface, including adhesion, bonding performance, hydrophobicity and cleanliness.

 

Process/Testing Capabilities

  • Sample size: less than 6 inches;
  • It is mainly used to measure the contact angle on material surfaces. The water droplet contact angle is adopted to analyze and evaluate key surface properties such as adhesion, bonding performance, hydrophobicity and cleanliness.

As shown in the figure above, the contact angle measuring instrument is mainly composed of five core parts: light source, injection unit, sample stage, acquisition system and analysis software, which adopts the principle of optical imaging.The light source adopts a dense LED cold light design with uniform illumination, clear imaging and long service life.The injection unit uses a high-precision syringe pump for liquid feeding, which is quantitatively and speed-controlled by software, featuring stable droplet output with a precision up to 0.01 μL.The sample stage is a 3D manually fine-tuning platform with flexible operation and accurate positioning, and it can be customized according to the actual sample size.The acquisition system is equipped with an imported black-and-white CCD camera, delivering stable shooting, clear and highly authentic images. The lens adopts German industrial-grade imported configuration with an adjustable magnification of 0.7–4.5 times, achieving distortion-free imaging.

Sample size is less than 6 inches.
1. Sample size < 6 inches; keep the sample backside clean, and close the software after use.
2. Do not touch the instrument or operate the computer while the device is running, to avoid accidental shutdown or malfunction caused by misoperation.
3. In case of equipment alarm, please notify the corresponding equipment engineer in time.
