Customized Microlens Arrays
A microlens array consists of an array of micrometer-scale lenses. In addition to the basic functions of conventional lenses such as focusing and imaging, its small unit size and high level of integration enable functionalities that are difficult or impossible to achieve with traditional optical components, and allow the construction of novel optical systems.

The AEMD platform employs internationally advanced micro/nanofabrication technologies. Based on mature processes such as thermal reflow and dry etching, it develops and produces high-quality microlens arrays.

Applications of Microlens Arrays
optical information processing, optical computing, optical interconnects, and optical data transmission;

copiers, image scanners, fax machines, and cameras;

medical and healthcare devices.

Microlens Array Fabrication Capabilities Developed by the AEMD Platform
Microlens unit sizes range from a few micrometers to several hundred micrometers, typically from 10μm ~ 300μm.

Lens shapes can be circular, square, hexagonal, or other user-defined geometries.

Lens materials include quartz, silicon, polymers, and photoresists.

Substrate materials can be glass, silicon, quartz, metals, or integrated circuit wafers.

Processing area: up to 6-inch wafers, with compatibility for diced samples.
